Rational Investors offers clients a concentrated investment strategy that focuses primarily on investing in a limited number of long equity positions. Rational Investors employs “bottom-up” analysis and fundamental research to identify investment opportunities for execution of the investment strategy.
We use extensive research to identify common stocks issued by attractive businesses, whose operations are directed by rational and talented managers, and where those common stocks are selling at a reasonable price. Our goal is to achieve long-term superior returns over a market cycle while minimizing the risk of permanent loss of capital.
We seek clients who are long-term investors. We do not seek to predict how a stock will perform in the next year or two but do have an opinion as to what the businesses we invest in will be worth in five years.
